Restoration

Driveway Resurfacing

If your driveway is cracked, faded, or looking tired but the base underneath is still solid, resurfacing renews the surface without the cost of a full reinstall. We strip back the worn top layer and lay a fresh surface over your existing foundation.

How it works

Our process

  • Assessment

We check whether the existing base is solid enough to resurface, or whether deeper repair is needed first.

  • Surface preparation

Loose material, weeds, and damaged sections are cleared away.

  • Patch repairs

Any potholes or soft spots are fixed before the new layer goes down.

  • New tar layer

A fresh tar surface is laid and compacted evenly across the driveway.

  • Final finish

Edges are cleaned up and the surface is left smooth and ready to use.

Worth knowing

Resurfacing only makes sense if the base is still in decent shape. If there's serious subsidence or the base has failed, we'll be upfront that a full reinstall is the better long term option, even though it costs more now.
